Thinking about putting together a two seater kart, just something fun for cruising around with the kids or letting friends ride along, dont wanna to race it, just want it to be safe, balanced, and not underpowered with the extra weight.
Has anyone here built or modded a two seater? would wanna what frame you used, engine setup, and any tips on weight distribution or braking upgrades, open open open to suggestions. TIA!

I think you can go ahead and stretch any 2 seater frame with suspension, just make sure your current one is strong enough to handle.

That sounds like a fun project!
For your frame, look for something heavy-duty, possibly a utility kart frame or an extended standard one.
Consider a Predator 420cc or Honda GX390 (9-13 HP) with a torque converter so you can have plenty of power for two people!
Try to keep the engine and passenger close to the center for good weight distribution.
And for safety, I definitely suggest upgrading to hydraulic disk brakes, ideally dual discs for reliable stopping power.
