Ideas to start building a drift kart

Wanna do a drift kart build for adult and I couldn't be more stoked or slightly in over my head lol, I picked up a stripped down frame from a buddy, and the plan is to turn it into a little sideways monster for parking lot fun. I'm thinking 6.5hp to start, maybe a Predator 212 with a torque converter setup, then I'm planning on running PVC sleeves over slicks for the low budget drift magic, I'm still figuring out seat placement and throttle response though

Building a drift kart for adults? Starting off with a Predator 212 and a torque converter is definitely a great choice. Just make sure to keep the seat low and centered for that sweet balance. Oh, and using a bike brake lever for the throttle? Super smart! It'll give you that quick response you're looking for.
